This role leads product development from concept through production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, internal standards, and project timing commitments.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for overseeing product development activities:

• Lead connector design activities through production launch
• Develop connector systems in accordance with internal standards, procedures, and customer requirements
• Perform DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and tolerance stack-ups to ensure robust designs
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of technical design issues
• Initiate and supporting full product validation
• Ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and competitive within market requirements
• Support cross-functional collaboration and providing product training as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of product engineering experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience with DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and structured product development processes
