Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of electromechanical components for the automotive industry, is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer to support plastic injection molding and assembly operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting both internal teams and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing product quality:

• Managing quality performance for plastic injection molding and assembly processes
• Leading quality auditors and supporting containment of nonconforming material
• Conducting failure analysis for internal and customer complaints Monitoring SPC and initiating corrective action when required
• Developing and maintaining inspection procedures, gages, and work instructions
• Supporting and developing inspection programs
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality, or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a medium- to high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience with 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and quality tools
